Three days across Rajasthan’s two great desert cities, leaving from Ahmedabad by AC sleeper bus. A night in a Jodhpur resort under Mehrangarh, then out to the Sam dunes for a Swiss tent camp — jeep safari, Rajasthani folk dance and a garba night — and a sunrise camel safari before the Golden City itself.

Morning arrival at the Jodhpur resort, room allotment and breakfast. Then the Blue City: Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, the Clock Tower and Ghantaghar market. Evening back to the resort for a buffet dinner. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

Early checkout after breakfast and on to the Sam Desert, arriving in the afternoon. Jeep safari, Rajasthani folk dance, and a DJ, garba and dance party in the evening. A night trek in the desert if conditions allow. Night in a Swiss tent. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

Sunrise camel safari in the Thar Desert, then breakfast and checkout. Kuldhara village, Jaisalmer Fort — one of the very few living forts in the world — Patwa Haveli and Gadisar Lake for the evening view and boating. Evening departure for Ahmedabad. Meals: breakfast.
