About us
Journeys, thoughtfully crafted
Fixed-departure group trips out of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar — the Himalayas in winter, Rajasthan when the desert cools, and a trip leader travelling with you the whole way.
Who we are
A group tour company from Gujarat
Sitara Holiday runs fixed-departure group trips that leave from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. You book a date, not a quote: the fare, the boarding point and the hotels are settled before you pay, and a trip leader travels with the group the whole way.
Most of what we run is the Himalayas and Rajasthan — Shimla, Manali, Kasol and Dalhousie in the winter, Jodhpur and the Jaisalmer dunes when the desert is comfortable. Travel is by AC coach or train from Gujarat, so there is no flight to arrange and no airport to reach at 4am.
We publish the whole itinerary before you book, including the parts most brochures leave out — where a coach cannot go, which entry tickets you pay at the gate, and which dates carry a seasonal supplement.
- Fixed departures, set fares
- Trip leader on every group
- Boarding across Gujarat
- Hotels and meals included

Our people
The two people who answer the phone
Sitara Holiday is not a call centre. Between them, Devang and Shivang plan the itineraries, negotiate the hotels and pick up when you ring.

Devang Sakariya
Founder
Devang started Sitara Holiday to run the kind of group trip he wanted to go on himself — a fixed date, an honest price, and somebody from the company actually travelling with you. He still signs off every itinerary before it goes on sale.

Shivang Parekh
Co-Founder
Shivang runs operations — the buses, the hotels, the campsites and the trip leaders. If a road closes at Rohtang or a train runs late out of Gandhinagar, he is the reason the group still gets where it is going.
